1986In 1986, in the small Breton town of Ploubalay, Dominique and Isabelle Josselin founded their artisanal workshop specializing in the manufacture of marine sweaters. they created their business by focusing on the production of clothes that meet the needs of sailors and sea enthusiasts. |

1994It was then the smallest workshop in Brittany, which was born in 1994 as the brand Baie des Caps. The couple breathes in sailor sweater Baie des Caps a particular state of mind, from its manufacture to its sale. With their employees, they are passionately reviving the tradition of sailor sweater in a region marked by the culture and love of the sea, the bay of the caps (now called the Côte d’Emeraude), between Cancale and Cape Fréhel. |
2016In 2016, the brand Baie des Caps created hats for the film "L'Odyssée", which retraces the life of the famous Commander Cousteau. In 2022, Baie des Caps obtains the labelling "France Terre Textile", thus rewarding the careful work and quality of the products produced by the workshop. This label is a true recognition for this 100% French workshop, ensuring that more than 75% of the manufacturing process is carried out in France, while ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards.
This distinction confirms the seriousness and know-how of the brand Baie des Caps, thus strengthening its reputation and attractiveness. The labelling "France Terre Textile" allows the workshop to stand out in the textile market and attract new customers to search for authentic and quality products, made in accordance with traditions and the environment.

Our collaboration with La boutique Augustin has brought its fruit and we are proud to present our 3 cubit sweaters with their fun and stylish design. These sweaters are made in 100% wool, offering warmth, comfort and elegance to all who wear them.
