Originally designed for an airline, the Hélice is an invitation to movement: a comfortable cut that allows freedom of movement, a fine 12-gauge knit with a fluid drape, and a merino blend that keeps you warm without being heavy — from the city to the seaside, whatever the itinerary.

Knitted and manufactured in our workshop in Beaussais-sur-Mer. For a close-fitting look, see the Petit Hélice.

Specializing since 1994 in the emblematic knit of the sailor's sweater , it perpetuates a tradition anchored in the maritime world, inspired by the sea and pleasure boating.

In 2019 , the arrival of Geoffroy and Lucie de Pinieux marked a turning point for Baie des Caps. Their goal? To make a brand known that had long remained confidential, while preserving its artisanal soul. Today, a team of 10 qualified artisans ensures the knitting and 100% French manufacture of our sailor sweaters.
