The elbow patches are not sewn on afterwards: they are knitted into the fabric, in collaboration with the Breton house Augustin, whose iconic motifs they take up — Babord Tribord, Lobster & Crab, Striped Fish, Striped Anchor. They reinforce the sweater where it gets the most wear.

Which material and which cut?

100% virgin wool, dense solid knit, in a fitted cut (take one size above) or a comfort cut (your usual size). Knitted in our workshop in Beaussais-sur-Mer.

And what if an elbow patch wears out one day?

Our sweaters are repairable for life in our workshop, by the artisans who knitted them — fitting new elbow patches included. And like all our sweaters, they come with a lifetime anti-pilling guarantee.
