Discover our know-how
The Baie des Caps workshop was founded in 1986 on the Emerald Coast in Brittany, and has specialized in the typical sailor sweater knit since 1994.
The founders, Dominique and Isabelle JOSSELIN, responded to the demand linked to the territory: the sea and recreational boating.
This knit, popular for its many qualities (elasticity, robustness, durability), has led the collection to be enriched with urban sweaters (round neck, V-neck, vests, jackets, trucker collars, etc.), always knitted with the same high standards.
In 2019, the transmission of this know-how was ensured with the arrival of Geoffroy and Lucie de Pinieux, who have since undertaken to make known a brand that had remained confidential for a long time.
The team grew to 10 employees, guaranteeing perfect mastery in France of knitting and the making of sailor sweaters.
Transmission is assured!
Thinking about the second life
A durable knit, even if it is of quality, remains a natural material that can suffer the ravages of time. Do not hesitate to have your sweater repaired if it shows signs of fatigue! Our workshop carries out repairs on slip stitches, holes, or even the installation of knit elbow patches.
If your sweater is no longer your size, do not hesitate to drop it off in our shop for a credit, or to send it to us (contact us first). It will make other customers happy, and you will be able to reinvest in a new one!
