Knitted in our Breton workshops, then made and assembled in the Rondinaud workshops in Charente, these mules embody the best of Made in France .
The interior is lined with pure wool , for cozy comfort from the very first steps.
The navy blue knit , a signature of Baie des Caps, brings an elegant and timeless touch.

Each pair reflects a local and responsible approach : our knitted scraps find a new life thanks to the know-how of Rondinaud, passed down for 4 generations.
Knit: Panels knitted in 8 gauge in our workshop in Beaussais-sur-Mer, wool spun and dyed by Biella Yarn (Italy).
Special feature: Each panel had a small knitting irregularity — a poorly caught thread, a marked stitch, uneven tension... — which prevented it from becoming a sweater. Rather than discarding it, we are giving it a second life.
Manufacturing: Atelier Rondinaud, manufacturer of charentaise slippers and mules since 1907, La Rochefoucauld-en-Angoumois (Charente).
Quality: The finished product is impeccable — the pieces are cut from the perfect areas of the panel. Each pair is unique.

Since 1986 , the Baie des Caps workshop, located on the Emerald Coast in Brittany, has been the guardian of a unique know-how. Specializing since 1994 in the emblematic knit of the sailor's sweater , it perpetuates a tradition anchored in the maritime world, inspired by the sea and pleasure boating.

A Successful Transmission
In 2019 , the arrival of Geoffroy and Lucie de Pinieux marked a turning point for Baie des Caps. Their goal? To make a brand known that had long remained confidential, while preserving its artisanal soul. Today, a team of 10 qualified artisans ensures the knitting and 100% French manufacture of our sailor sweaters.

Local recycling : Drop off or send us your sweater that is too small or unused. We will restore it so that it can find a second life and make another customer happy. In exchange, receive a credit to reinvest in a new item.
