Gloves born from our flawed knits, carefully upcycled in France.
At Baie des Caps, every stitch counts.
Our panels with slight imperfections are no longer discarded: they are reborn as an accessory that is useful, durable, and meaningful.
The Main d'Armor gloves symbolize this approach of responsible upcycling, true to our Breton roots and our artisanal know-how.
Knitted in our workshops in Ploubalay, they combine softness, warmth, and authenticity, to accompany you through winters on land and at sea.
?? Knitted from our upcycled knits, for zero-waste production.
?? Natural wool warmth, breathability, and everyday comfort.
?? Unisex and timeless cut, for men and women.
?? 100% Breton knitting in our workshop labeled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV - Living Heritage Company), and manufacturing in the Oise by an artisan glove maker since 1865.
?? A sober and elegant design, true to the Baie des Caps DNA.
"Each Main d'Armor glove tells a story: that of a knit that found new life, and of a savoir-faire that we preserve, day after day, in the heart of Côtes-d'Armor."

From 15cm to 17.5cm: Size S
From 17.5cm to 20.5 cm: Size M
From 20.5cm to 23cm: Size L
Over 23 cm: Size XLSizes S and M usually fit women, while L and XL fit men.
Knit: 12-gauge knitted panels produced in our workshop in Beaussais-sur-Mer, wool spun and dyed by Biella Yarn (Italy).
The particularity: each panel had a slight knitting irregularity — a snagged thread, a marked stitch, uneven tension… — that prevented it from becoming a sweater. Rather than throwing it away, we are giving it a second life.
Manufacturing: Gant Maille, French manufacturer of gloves and balaclavas.
Quality: the finished product is flawless — the pieces are cut from the perfect areas of the panel. Each pair is unique.
