Durable and warm sailor sweaters thanks to the full knit

Full stitch is the stitch of the sailor sweater. Unlike the jersey stitch which only uses one row of needles in knitting, the full stitch fills two rows and fills all the needles by going back and forth between the two rows. This process allows for a very flexible and elastic and more resistant stitch. In our workshop, we knit the stitch very tightly which makes it denser and more robust. The warmest sweater in our entire knit range is the high density trucker sweater. This one is knitted in full stitch with 3 threads, which makes it even thicker and heavier (1.5 kg) than our other sailor sweaters. Our sailor sweaters weigh between 0.7 kg and 0.9 kg depending on the variation and size chosen. All our sweaters in 100% virgin wool are machine washable on the wool program - cold water. Sweaters in 50% merino wool can be washed at 30° degrees. None of our sweaters pill.
