100% virgin wool vs 50% merino wool 50% acrylic
Let's be clear, in both cases your sweater will be warm. Because the secret lies in the knitting, even in fine knit: the knit is tightened, which helps to maintain heat. And that doesn't take away from the quality.
Virgin wool is simply more rustic. Ideally it is worn in winter, over your shirt or long-sleeved t-shirt. Cold wash (20° max.).
Merino wool mixed with acrylic is soft and can be worn on bare arms. It is very suitable for children, because it is also easy to care for (30° in the wool machine).
